With our experience in coatings and construction, we offer a wide range of solutions for new lightweight structures, whether curved or flat, and we can supply the right product for the job whether the structure is to be manufactured in composite or faired and painted in steel. We have worked on a host of different projects, from clear wood finish constructions to curved and shaped high gloss buildings and from water features to floor adhesives and finishes. In all, Marineware can help with all composite and metal constructions and we have the coatings to ensure long-lasting protection and finish.
Our involvement with the NatWest Media Centre at the Lord's Cricket Ground in London is a good example. Designed by the leading architects Future Systems, the 100-tonne Media Centre consists of an aluminium skin supported by a rib-like framework. The entire external surfaces are faired with Awlfair epoxy filler and painted with Awlgrip topcoat for a high performance anti-corrosive finish. Our products enabled Future Systems to design the world’s first ever aluminium semi monocoque building and to endow it with an aesthetically pleasing and long-lasting finish.
