Wind turbines blades are no exception, whether positioned inland or offshore. Since 1997, over 7,500 blades have been coated with a simple two product system from Awlgrip – the High Solids low V.O.C system - and with excellent results.
Marineware also has products to help with blade maintenance. We provide systems to repair crazed or pitted blades using epoxy fillers and primers. The blades are then finished with Awlgrip High Solids Polyurethane topcoat to provide long term protection. The high cross link density of Awlgrip topcoats ensures extended durability against UV and impact.
