One-Component Primers
Be it wood, steel ,grp or aluminium Epifanes have a one pack primer to suit all substrates. Werdol is a trade name for the Epifanes range of traditional easy to use primers.
Multimarine Primer is
a one-part multipurpose primer combining all characteristics of
seperate substrate primers, tie-coats or sanding and adhesions primers
in one. For use above the waterline. Excellent adhesion to wood,
fiberglass, steel, stainless steel, aluminium, galvanized metal, copper
and most other bare or painted substrates. Corrosion prevention over
steel, quick drying, good grain filling and exceptional covering.
Werdol Woodprimer is a traditional one-component filling primer for bare wood in a one-component paint system above the waterline. Suitable for interior and exterior use. Provides good filling, quick build, covering and easy sanding. Recoatable with all Epifanes one-component yacht paints
Epifanes Undercoat (Epigrond): a quick drying one-component undercoat/prelacquer with excellent adhesion, filling and covering properties. For use above the waterline on one-component adhesion primers, anticorrosion primers and existing intact coatings. Overcoatable with all Epifanes one-component paints.
Epifanes Washprimer A.Q: a waterborne, acrylic resin based primer. Recommended as an adhesion primer for anodized or unanodized aluminium, galvanised steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, copper, glass, ceramics and other poor adhering substrates. For interior and exterior use, above and below the water. This primer is recoatable with both one and two component products.
Epifanes Fibreglassprimer: a one-component adhesion primer with excellent filling and covering properties. For interior and exterior use on bare Fibreglass above the waterline. Recoatable with all Epifanes one-component paints
Werdol Metalprimer: a one-component lead-free anticorrosive primer for use on bare steel in a one-component paint system above the waterline. Suitable for interior and exterior use. Excellent rust-prevention. Good hiding. Easy to sand. Recoatable with all Epifanes one-component paints.
Epifanes Mono-Fill: an air-drying surfacer for filling by brush of small and round objects where leveling by knife is not possible. Also suitable for quick filling of wood grain.
